Alex has over forty years experience in public and private sector organisations. He brings in-depth and personal knowledge of the challenges encountered by individuals and teams focused on delivering results in today’s dynamic business environment.
He continually draws on his experiences as a teacher and trainer, Human resources manager, Presbyterian minister, project manager and board member. An interest in the creative arts, influences the invitations he presents to see the world from different perspectives.
As a facilitator, Alex has extensive experience in areas as diverse as strategic planning, team building, conflict resolution. While skilled at designing ‘content’, his starting point is responsiveness to client need. He works with their agenda, not his own. His approach is one of flexibility, adapting his style to the needs of the moment.
When it comes to mentoring and coaching, Alex’s starting point is a conviction is that increasing awareness of who you are is the key to unlocking leadership effectiveness, engagement with others and business focus.
His clients include national and local body Public Sector organisations, as well as individuals and teams in retail, architecture and the arts.
